Our items are all used, mostly Victorian and a few vintage. They have defects. Not the first item we sell is perfect.
Up for auction is a lovely embossed or repousse centerpiece bowl by E. G. Webster and Sons. The bowl features a highly detailed high relief design of grapes, leaves and vines intertwining around a lattice. The high relief details are exceptional and the patina is excellent. The bowl is silver plate over copper and there is just a hint of copper showing through on the grapes towards the center of the bowl as shown. The silver plate is lovely with lots of shine and there are no monograms or dents. It measures 9 inches across and almost 2 inches tall.
