Our most popular and economical algaecide. Use once a week for the best results and an algae-free pool. Effective in killing green, blue-green, mustard, black, and over 20,000 strains of algae. Not affected by pH. Non-metallic, non-foaming, doesn’t stain pool surfaces or turn blonde hair green like copper. It contains polyethylene dichloride, which coats the algae cell and prevents carbon dioxide from getting in–killing the algae quickly. Use 6-11 oz per 10,000 gallons to kill algae and 2 oz per 10,000 gallons for regular maintenance doses.

BIWEEKLY MAINTENANCE
– Each bottle of Algaecide is 32 ounces of fluid. Swimming pools require only 4 oz. of Rx Clear Swimming Pool Algaecide every two weeks per every 10,000 gallons of water to guard against algae.

– Whether you have an in-ground or above ground pool this product will work to keep algae at bay without making your swimming pool filled with foam. To avoid foaming, do not exceed beyond the recommended dosages and apply gently in one spot away from return.
